Beaver County, Pennsylvania has a long and interesting history that is filled with a rich assortment of historical characters and events. “Strolling Through Time” attempts to take as many of those documented historical dates, events and people as possible and puts them into an easy to use chronological order allowing anyone from the serious historian to the casual history fan to learn more about what happened here. In compiling this timeline, over one hundred and twenty sources were consulted, including history books, newspapers and web sources, some of them containing surprising and little-known information that ranged from the ordinary to the fascinating.
