Traditional German Stars:
By using four strips of paper and with folding and twisting, you will learn to make this 16-point star, used for Christmas Holiday decorations. Participants will be able to make 3 stars during the class and Attendees will receive enough paper and instructions to make 2 stars at home. Reservations are required. Fee per session is $22.00. SEWING CLASSES:

Bobbin Lace. The class is designed so that a progression of lace projects is offered. Beginner students will work on a “snake cloth stitch bookmark”; the second time a student attends, they will work on a ground stitch bookmark. Students will complete their project at their own pace, while learning various stitches. All supplies are provided.
Weaving. Introduction to weaving. Basic weaving instruction including information about various looms (2 and 4 shaft looms, and rigid heddle looms), as well as an overview on weaving vocabulary, and basic weaving principles. Students will weave a small project on a rigid heddle loom. After this class, students will have the opportunity to plan a project that can be completed on one of the floor looms on site.Planned weaving project will be an additional cost based upon the project selected.
Basic Sewing Stitches. A small booklet will be completed in class that will contain basic hand stitches, such as a running, basting, back, hem and flat felled seam etc.
